Dom Rebyonka, (Дом Ребёнка) translated as Baby Home, is located in the City of Yoshkar-Ola. It is home to all orphaned infants, through age 4 , in the Republic of Mari-El, Russia. On their 5th birthday, the child is evaluated and placed in one of the 27 Childrens Homes in Mari-El Republic, or if necessary placed in an institution for children with disabilities. Average population of the Baby Home is 110-120
